What is the significance of your name, Tanda Creatives?
Tanda is an interesting word. It has many meanings in different cultures and context. (We represent them all!)
Different Meanings of Tanda:
- In Tagalog (Filipino) - old, something to remember
- In Indonesian - character, Sign, Mark, Spark, expression, significant, attribute
- In Spanish - round, batch, series, group
- In Latin America - Term for a Social Funding Circle, where a Group of 5 to 10 friends are committed to each other to build a collective fund by making regular monthly contribution
- In Music (milonga) - a collection of songs in the same genre played by an orchestra
We like to see ourselves as a social circle, not for funding, but committed to building a better world by making regular contributions of our creative talents, passions, time and efforts.
We are a collective that want to remembered by forging long-lasting and impactful relationships with the people around us.
We seek to orchestrate a symphony of life and space changing projects that seek to forge a better world for all of us.
So is Tanda Creatives just another interior Design Company with a fancy name?
So is Tanda Creatives just another interior Design Company with a fancy name?
Not really. You can call us that if you like.
HOWEVER....
We don't only focus on interiors. Nor do we only design.
We like to call ourself a Space Transformation Agency. One that seeks to transform all spaces, exterior, interior, outdoor indoors. Basically every area (even non-physical ones!) that our bodies inhabit, and making them better for every one.

We do not run on traditional business principles, but instead pride ourselves in keeping up with the latest trends, and constantly learn, innovate, research and test new ideas and approaches.

We do not limit ourselves to traditional design related disciplines, but draw our inspiration and expertise across wide-ranging and often novel perspectives like bio-mimicry, design psychology, design thinking... Anything that helps us expand our field of view in driving creativity and effectiveness in all that we do.
A Cooperative Agency
We are not a company that is owned by share-holders, hires employees working for a salary and exist solely for profit. We are the brain-child and currently a subsidiary of Think.Shift.Design, whose platforms serve to support people and organisations to work together in order to accomplish goals that they they would not be able to achieve on their own, with an over-arching goal to bring about positive change in the world we live in.
